Okay, I’m a huge fan of Brets chips.

So many flavors and new ones show up periodically, which is a lot of fun. I’ve seen this one a couple times in the past week, pastis.

And I love pastis, which is an anise licorice-flavored liqueur here in France that is a common thing to drink at Aperol. I’m not sure how I feel about it.

I happened to be going to the grocery store tonight.

I walked over from my little Airbnb here in Colmar and they had pastis. This is the third time I’ve seen it.

I thought, okay, I’m going to taste it right now.

Here’s my authentic reaction to the Brets pastis flavor.

And it does note on here, no alcohol. Sans au clor.

Here we go. I’m a little nervous. I’m not so sure about this flavor. Smells like pastis. And Brets, all their chips they taste like what they say they are going to be.

Yeah, it smells like pastis.

That’s a hard no.

I can’t believe it, Bret. I’m sorry, but yeah, I can’t do that.

It’s not right. At least for me. I don’t know. Maybe if I eat a couple more, they’ll grow on me.

But yeah, I can’t do it.

Can you?

I hope you have some hedonism in your future.

Looking forward to seeing you soon,

Marilee
