Hello from Champagne!

I’ve had another incredible day of meeting absolute rock-star women wine growers here in France. The past four weeks have been meeting after meeting with spectacular women wine growers.

Some of these winemakers are small. They don’t even have a website (yet!). They don’t have time for that because they’re doing everything in their vines …. And yeah, these are extraordinary, lovely wines.

These bottles behind me are the samples I’ve collected over the past four weeks and this doesn’t include the champagne, which is mounting up quickly!

I got a lot of work to do … but I’ve organized a little reward for myself. I’m going to play hooky on Tuesday and I’m going to take the train to Paris and sample the delights of the city.

I don’t often get to, to do that.

Maybe I’ll have dinner out somewhere … maybe at least sit on a terrace somewhere and have a glass of wine, or maybe … I’ll go to the Champ de Mars with one of these gorgeous bottles of Champagne and watch the Eiffel Tower light up.

What would you do?

I hope you have some hedonism in your future.

Looking forward to seeing you soon,

Marilee
